Travel Physical Therapist - Outpatient

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an Outpatient/Inpatient position at a critical access hospital, open to new grads and first-time travelers with 1+ years of experience.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience required; new grads may be considered
• BLS certification required
• MT state license required if applicable
• Skills in documentation, assessment, pain assessment, and patient/family education required
• Strong professional skills and clinical knowledge needed

Responsibilities

• Critical access hospital setting with outpatient, inpatient, and home visit swing bed program in a rural community
• 3 outpatient PT clinics plus inpatient coverage; staff shift and cover across areas based on staffing needs
• Shift options include 4x10 hour or 5x8 hour shifts, with weekly hours ranging from 34-40 depending on census or caseload
• Day shift hours from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• Weekend rotation required every 3rd weekend
• No on-call requirements
• No floating to sister facilities
• Epic charting system preferred
• Main responsibilities include evaluating, planning, and implementing individualized treatment programs to improve mobility, reduce pain, and support patient independence
• Collaborative work with providers and care teams across acute, outpatient, and long-term care settings
• Opportunity to gain broad clinical exposure and acute care experience not typically found in larger specialized systems

• Open to first-time travelers with at least 1 year of experience in the discipline
