Substitute teachers will maintain a productive classroom environment in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring continuity of instruction and care of students.Roles and Responsibilities: Report to assigned division and check in with office staff. Take attendance. Follow lesson plans provided by the regular Teacher.Accomplish curriculum objectives and goals outlined in lesson plans.Manage classroom effectively to encourage student participation.Minimize distractions and maintain a cohesive and consistent learning experience for all students.Provide effective and appropriate supervision of students.Ensure adherence to all TVS procedures and policies.Exemplify a professional attitude with students, colleagues, and parents.Uphold a strong commitment to confidentiality.Knowledge, Experience, and Skill Requirements: A strong candidate for the Substitute Teacher position will possess the following skills and qualifications:Bachelor 's degree or higher, preferably in education.Flexibility and critical-thinking skills.General knowledge of several subjects.Fully support the four main objectives of the TVS Mission StatementAbility to adapt plans to specific classroom.Previous classroom experience.Application Requirements:Qualified candidates should complete an online application for employment and attach a résumé by visiting Trinity Valley School Career Opportunities.
