Preschool Classroom Aide

Vacancy Announcement CCS EARLY LEARNING PRESCHOOL CLASSROOM AIDE (Wasilla Head Start) To assist the teacher and cooperate in a supportive role, providing and carrying out developmentally appropriate activities and care. To promote the health, nutrition, and education of the children enrolled in our Head Start programs and to attend to their safety and welfare. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Six months experience caring for preschool children preferably in a classroom High school diploma or GED Ability to work as team member with staff and parents Flexibility to work additional hours appreciated Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds Valid Driver's License, current auto insurance and a good driving record EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS Health ReportPost-hire: Annual Physical/Health History CPR and First Aid CertificationFood Worker CardProof of current Driver’s License and auto insurance CPR and First Aid Certification Food Worker Card Proof of current Driver’s License and auto insurance GENERAL INFORMATION Schedule: Full-Time (37.5 hrs/wk), Part-Year (44 wks/yr) Salary: $17.45 – $23.27 per hour DOE and education.
