Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Days or Nights) | Fort Walton Beach, FL Overview We are seeking dedicated and skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Responsibilities Triage, assess, and provide emergency care to patients of all ages Identify expected outcomes and develop individualized plans of care Administer treatments, medications, and interventions promptly and accurately Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care Provide education and follow-up instructions to patients and families Remain calm and effective in high-stress, fast-paced situations Uphold hospital policies and standards for patient safety, confidentiality, and quality Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 1 year recent acute care experience (within the last 3 years) required; trauma experience preferred Education: Associate Degree or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred Licensure: Active Florida RN license, Multistate Compact license, or eligibility to obtain prior to start Certifications: BLS – within 30 days of hire ACLS – within 90 days of hire PALS – within 90 days of hire Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI) – within 90 days of hire TNCC – within 60 months of hire Ideal candidates demonstrate quick critical thinking, adaptability, and compassion under pressure while maintaining a strong focus on patient safety.
