Park Place of Elmhurst is a 5-star Assisted Living Community located in Elmhurst, IL. Here at Park Place of Elmhurst, we offer a continuum of care with the security of lifecare. Our residents also have access to assisted living, short-term rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and memory support right on campus. We are seeking a hardworking professional Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Part Time, 11PM-7:30AM. Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing direct nursing care to the clients and manage the day-to-day activities performed by the Certified Nursing Assistants working as a team.
• Administers medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Provides education and guidance to clients and their families on disease process and management.
• Ensure adequate medical supplies are available to meet the medical needs of the patients.
• Receive and review nursing report at the beginning of the shift and compile nursing report at the end of the shift.
• Monitor vital signs in accordance with the resident's treatment plan.

Requirements:

• Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Illinois.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Medical and Surgical setting.
• Previous experience in long-term care is a plus but not required.
• Pass a physical, drug screen, 50-pound lift test, fingerprint for criminal background and complete the reference check.
