General Manager Responsibilities
General Managers are responsible for:
- Ensuring the restaurant is staffed with qualified candidates
- Ensuring an effective work schedule made to build sales
- Ensuring all required training is completed
- Ensuring customer satisfaction and resolve all complaints. Making sure every customer leaves happy
- Keeping a high level of operational standards
- Keeping a safe work environment and food is prepared safely
- Managing daily operations of the restaurant
- Managing inventory and purchasing
- Managing restaurant financials and budget
- Following all company policies and procedures
- Maintaining a positive and enthusiastic work environment for all employees
