Key Qualifications:

• Hold a valid SLPA license in California
• Practical experience in school settings preferred
• Knowledge of speech-language therapy techniques and resources for PreK12th graders
• Strong interpersonal skills to engage students, families, and staff
• Capable of maintaining accurate records and adhering to IEP guidelines
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Clear background check and appropriate immunizations as required by state guidelines

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy to students under a supervising SLP
• Implement individualized treatment plans and document student progress
• Assist with screenings, assessments, and preparation of therapy materials
• Support the SLP in IEP meetings and ongoing communication with teachers and parents
• Participate in school-based team meetings and professional development
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with all school policies and regulations
