Your Role as a Physical Therapy Technician As a Physical Therapy Technician, you will assist in delivering therapeutic care to help patients increase, maintain, or restore function while minimizing disability. You will work under the direct supervision of a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Physical Therapist Assistant. Key Responsibilities Assist in administering therapeutic treatment procedures, including: Moist heat Cryotherapy Ultrasound Electrical stimulation Whirlpool Therapeutic exercise Isokinetic exercise Assist with patient treatment programs as directed by supervising therapist Report patient reactions and observations to supervising therapist Maintain, clean, and organize departmental equipment and supplies Participate in educational programs and team meetings to improve patient care and performance Support a safe, clean, and efficient clinical environment What We’re Looking For Experience 1–2 years of PT Tech experience in an outpatient setting preferred Licensure & Certification BCLS certification required Skills & Abilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to follow direction and work under supervision Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting Ready to Take the Next Step?
