WordPress DeveloperJob Location: Hartford, CT (Remote till the Covid pandemic flattens) Job Type: ContractResponsibilities:Interact with Business System Analyst to understand Agent Portal requirements.Analyze the existing Legacy portal content.Perform development activities for the new Agent Portal.Key Qualifications:Responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins.Familiarize with different programming skills such as PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript Creates and implements websites for clients using the WordPress web creation tool.Help for a variety of organizations like design agencies, computer systems firms, and marketing agencies.Need to work as part of agency design or marketing teams, or for themselves as freelancers.Work directly with clients, designers, brand strategists, writers, marketers, and other developers to create attractive and user-friendly websites.They typically work on weekdays during regular business hours and report to the department director.Depending on their work venue, attend agency meetings or meet with clients.Plan to focus on working with clients to conceptualize their ideas to help bring the client's vision into reality.Help with performance monitoring.Help with the server-side, which controls how the site works and encompasses changes and updates as part of back-end development.Generate Plug-Ins and Themes and work with code to create them.After a developer creates a WordPress site for a client, help to train the client on how to use WordPress to manipulate the site, add content, and whatever else the client needs to know to make the most of their site.About Us: InterSources Inc, a Certified Diverse Supplier, was founded in 2007, offers innovative solutions to help clients with Digital Transformations across various domains and industries.
