We're seeking a talented and creative Floral Designer to join our dynamic team and help us continue to exceed our customers' expectations.

As a Floral Designer at English Gardens, you will be responsible for crafting stunning floral arrangements for a variety of events and occasions. Your role will involve designing custom bouquets, centerpieces, and other floral displays that reflect our clients' visions and preferences. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice on floral choices and design options.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and create floral arrangements, including bouquets, centerpieces, and other decorative displays.
• Consult with clients to determine their needs, preferences, and budget for floral arrangements.
• Maintain knowledge of current floral trends, techniques, and seasonal blooms.
• Prepare floral arrangements for delivery and ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Manage inventory of flowers, supplies, and equipment, and place orders as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Provide exceptional customer service and address any client concerns or requests.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Floral Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of work.
• Knowledge of floral design principles, color theory, and arrangement techniques.
• Excellent creativity and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Availability to work on weekends and holidays.
• Previous experience with event planning or wedding floral design is a plus.

• Required: A minimum of two years of floral sales design experience in related position. Desirable: 5 + years of floral sales design experience in a retail environment.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent; formal training in floral design or a related field is preferred.
