Radiologic Technologist - CT

This position requires a shift from 07:00 to 19:30, with three 12-hour shifts plus 50% on-call duty and every other weekend availability.

The Radiologic Technologist - CT will review patient history and physician orders, educating patients about procedures and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation. The role includes preparing and administering contrast media and medications within the scope of practice when ordered. The technologist will monitor patient conditions continually and respond to changes in status as appropriate. Responsibilities include preparing equipment and supplies, implementing safety standards, and performing quality control procedures on equipment. The technologist will troubleshoot and report equipment malfunctions, position patients, and perform imaging procedures, analyzing results and addressing any issues with imaging quality.

• Review patient history and physician's orders.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examinations.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and medications as ordered.
• Monitor and report changes in patient status.
• Prepare equipment and supplies for imaging procedures.
• Implement safety standards and quality control procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions.
• Position patients and perform imaging procedures.
• Analyze imaging results and address quality issues.
• Enter, transmit, and report scan results.

• Associate degree in radiologic technology; completion of a CT technology certificate program preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Radiology and CT.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (RD) and Computed Tomography (CT).
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association, documentation required.
• Ability to float between X-ray and CT departments.
