Job Description:

The IT Solutions Architect is a technology and architecture leader with broad knowledge of systems, services, software architectural concepts and system integration patterns. In this role, the IT Solutions Architect, is part of the Pharma Services Group, aligned to the Clinical Trials Division (CTD).

The IT Solutions Architect works with Enterprise, Group, and Division IT resources to identify leading edge digital solutions that meet customer needs with scalable and extensible architectures and solutions. The IT Solutions Architect is responsible to take initiative to understand and map IT systems in adjacent businesses within the Global Enterprise.

The Architect will drive the ideation, design, and provide guidance for the development, and implementation of the technologies and solutions, partnering closely with the stakeholders to define and execute on the products roadmap. The Architect will lead the design of applications and high data volume business platforms ensuring systems integrate effectively and scale globally.

Technology Skills:

• 5 years experience with AWS cloud platform.
• 3 years experience in heavily regulated environments such as healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical device development using GxP and Systems Validation
• 5 years experience with front end development
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (compute, memory, storage, networking, WAN).
• Experience managing the full scope of an enterprise (architecture, design, implementation, support).
• Knowledge of database design, development, API development, data warehousing, and data management techniques.
• Firsthand experience in setting up enterprise monitoring and management tools.
• Extensive understanding of CyberSecurity techniques to lower enterprise risk.
