CT Tech - Travel Position

Location: Englewood, CO

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 8A - 8:30P, Weekend Coverage Required

Job Description: The CT Tech will be responsible for performing imaging procedures in a fast-paced environment as part of a dedicated health care team. The role includes operating CT scan equipment, assisting with patient care, and ensuring quality control of imaging processes.

Responsibilities:

• Perform CT scans on various anatomical areas including stroke, trauma, head and chest, abdomen/pelvis, and CT angiography.
• Utilize GE Revolution 512 scanner, GE Evolution 128 scanner, and 64-slice scanner to produce high-quality images.
• Collaborate with medical staff to provide exceptional patient care and address any concerns.
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations and keep imaging equipment in optimal condition.
• Document and report imaging findings accurately in the EMR system (Meditech).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 6 months current acute care hospital CT Tech experience.
• BLS Certification.
• ARRT (R) Certification required.
• IV Skills preferred.
• Experience with trauma and stroke imaging preferred.
