Associate General Dentist

*Responsibilities*

* Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental histories, to develop tailored treatment plans.
* Perform general dentistry procedures such as dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, and prosthodontics.
* Manage advanced treatments including root canal therapy, dental extractions, oral surgery, and endodontics.
* Utilize dental software systems like Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix for accurate medical documentation and record keeping.
* Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety and compliance with healthcare regulations.
* Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures.
* Educate patients on oral health practices, treatment options, and post-treatment care to promote long-term wellness.

*Experience*

* Proven experience in general dentistry with a strong background in pediatric dentistry and oral surgery preferred.
* Familiarity with dental imaging techniques and anatomy knowledge essential for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
* Proficiency in using dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly desirable.
* Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws to ensure confidentiality and legal compliance.
* Hands-on experience with infection control standards, medical terminology, and medical documentation practices.
* Ability to perform dental fabrication procedures including crowns and prostheses with precision.
* Prior experience working in a busy dental clinic or healthcare setting that emphasizes patient care excellence.

Pay: $143,905.09 - $173,305.06 per year
