Job Description
We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and motivated Medical Assistant to join our busy ophthalmology practice. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with patients, is detail-oriented, and works well as part of a team.
Responsibilities include:
- Rooming and preparing patients for ophthalmic examinations
- Obtaining medical history, medications, and chief complaints
- Performing visual acuity and other basic ophthalmic testing
- Assisting physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Documenting patient information accurately in the electronic medical record
- Assisting with patient calls, scheduling, and other office duties as needed
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment
