Traveler Surgical TechnicianUnit notes must have a WA state license at time of submittal! No pending license will be reviewed. ***** Auto deducts the 1.75 WA state tax - you are able to re-add that back in. Clinical profile review and the manager will call for the interview. Traveler will need to bring their own earphones the first week of orientation for the online training onsite. Must have cardiac experience. Unit or tech # suites 22 capability to go to 26 on 3 different floors. Average number of cases per day 50-65. Required certifications BLS -- CST national cert not required - must be registered with Washington State. Graduate of an accredited school. Common cases GYN/Uro/Vascular/Plastic/Ortho (total hips/knees)/Neuro/Cardiovascular/Thoracic/General (Breast/HPB/Bariatric)/Sports Med (Hand/Podiatry)/Kidney (or kidney/pancreatic) transplants, ENT (FESS (sinus), septoplasty, cochlear implant, tympanoplasty, laryngoscopy in addition to soft tissue - thyroid/parathyroid. Large and complex cases. Robot-Davinci Xi (Gyn, Uro, General). 16 total different service lines. Experience or 'must have' skills scrubbing - one year of experience. First time travelers okay. Must have the following: ENT (FESS (sinus), septoplasty, cochlear implant, tympanoplasty, laryngoscopy in addition to soft tissue - thyroid/parathyroid. Davinci XI experience required (Gyn, Uro, General).Shifts & scheduling (do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?): 4-10 hour shifts, variable days and start times Mon-Friday. Start times- 0630,0900 or 1100. No self scheduling. Will keep start time consistent for the same week. Tuesdays and Fridays- later start times for in services and team meetings.Weeknight/call requirements: 1 call total (weeknight or weekend) per 4 week schedule. Weekday call begins at the end of shift until 7am next morning. Weekend call is 24 hours (7am to 7am). Scheduled by manager. Weekend/call requirements: Weekend call is 24 hours (7am to 7am) and is rotated between staff and travelers. Holiday/call requirements: None. What is call response time? 30 minutes - call room is available. Floating requirements: None. Scrub color/dress code: Teal - scrubs provided. Unit/department specific orientation: HR and OR leadership - scavenger hunt - 2 days with a surgical tech. Additional notes: Physicians and team are very helpful and willing to teach.
