As openings occur, we will draw candidates from this pool until May 2027 or until positions are filled for the current academic year. Position Title - Adjunct Faculty - Counseling

Department - Counseling and Human Services

Job Purpose - Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. Immigration sponsorship will not be offered for this position. The University of Scranton's Department of Counseling and Human Services has an ongoing need for highly qualified part-time faculty to staff a variety of courses each semester in the fields of Counseling and Human Services. Adjunct faculty may instruct one or more courses each semester on an "as needed" basis.

Essential Duties - Adjunct faculty are expected to teach a specified course(s); prepare course materials; provide support and guidance to students; and report grades.

Additional Skills Required

Minimum Education Requirements - Master's Degree in Counseling or related majors.

Preferred Education - ABD or PhD in Counseling or related majors.

Minimum Job Experience Requirements - Previous teaching experience and a willingness to be flexible in class scheduling.

Preferred Qualifications - Certifications related to area of expertise: LPC; NCC; CRC.
