Payroll Coordinator
The Fairview Park City Schools has an opening for a Payroll Coordinator at the Board of Education offices. This is an eight (8) hours per day, 260 days per year position (12 months).
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Record free of criminal violations that would prohibit employment with a public school
- Evidence of exceptional attendance and work record
- High ethical standards and integrity
- Friendly and polite demeanor
- Ability to work well with others
- Commitment to keep current with skills essential to the objectives of the position
- Meets all prerequisite qualifications to be bonded
- Proficient in office protocols, data entry, spelling, proofreading, and the correct use of grammar
- Record maintenance skills
- Ability to accurately compute and record mathematical data
- Thorough, gives careful attention to details
- Able to maintain high levels of confidentiality
- Knowledge of benefits administration
- Ability to interpret union contracts
- Prior school district payroll experience preferred, but not required
- Prior school district specific software preferred, but not required
- Maintains electronic databases and filing systems
- Refers to district policy interpretation inquiries to administration
- Assembles data for analysis and/or forecasting
- Facilitates collaborative work with auditors
- Assists with onboard of new employees
- Verifies and maintains employee employment, insurance, time off, etc. information is accurate
- Processes and verifies all payroll information
- Verifies the timely completion of required payroll reports and tax payments
- Maintains monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll reports
- Prepares employee W-2 forms
- Oversees various payroll software/programs such as BenExpress, AESOP, Public SchoolWorks, Board Docs and Docuware

Rate of Pay: Payscale starts at $24.28 per hour
