Automation Test Engineer (JavaScript | Web & Mobile Platforms) (Omaha, NE)

Pay rate : $32.00/hr. on W2 Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer with a strong background in JavaScript programming and deep experience in automation testing across mobile, desktop, and responsive web platforms. The ideal candidate will drive end-to-end testing initiatives through scalable automation strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest standards of software quality.
Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for end-to-end testing across desktop, mobile, and responsive platforms.
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define test strategies, validate international market features, and ensure timely delivery.
Lead complex E2E integration testing efforts across multiple systems and services using modern testing practices.
Execute and manage test plans, test cases, and test execution schedules aligned with project goals.
Proactively communicate risks, test progress, and quality status to leadership and stakeholders.
Contribute to continuous improvement of test processes and suggest innovative testing approaches to improve product quality and customer satisfaction.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
3+ years of experience leading test efforts for mobile, desktop, and responsive web platforms.
Proficient in JavaScript programming.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with:
HTML, XML, JSON, SQL
JavaScript, Node.js, TypeScript
Familiarity with RESTful services and web/mobile testing protocols.
Experience with test planning, defect tracking, build/release management, and debugging tools.
Proven ability to manage test environments and configurations effectively.
Experience in testing internationalized and localized features.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.
