Role Summary: As a Sales Specialist, you will partner closely with the sales personnel and perform regular outreach to new and existing customers. You will be responsible for accurately handling financial transactions, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring that our customers have a positive and memorable experience. 

Job Responsibilities 

• Partners with Territory Sales personnel to fulfill orders
• Manage existing customer accounts
• Develop quotes
• Answer customer questions and provide information on products
• Follow safety and security procedures
• Heavy use of NetSuite both for ERP and CRM purposes
• High level of product knowledge
• Maintain customer relationships
• Regular sales outreach to existing customers
• Outreach to potential customers
• Back-up for counter sales
• Punctual and regular attendance per scheduled shifts
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Job Qualifications 

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Retail Associate & Cashier experience 4+ years (preferred)
• Advanced understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
• Proficiency in English
• Bi-lingual, Spanish speaking strongly preferred
• Basic Math skills
• Hands-on experience with POS transactions
• Familiarity with inventory procedures
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills
• A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus
• Computer knowledge
• Experience working in NetSuite or a different ERP system is a plus
• Willingness to obtain forklift certification, if not already certified.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is performed onsite at a company store and related outside yard and warehouses. Work environment varies as this position often requires time spent indoors at the store seated at a computer, or outside in the elements assisting employees and customers in the yard and warehouse.
