Travel RN - Labor & Delivery - LDRP

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a LDRP position requiring an active IN or compact RN license and labor and delivery experience. Requirements Active IN or compact RN license required in hand prior to start Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (AWHONN Advanced also acceptable and preferred) Minimum 18 months of RN experience required Labor and delivery experience required; LDRP experience preferred Nursery experience preferred Cerner charting experience required Skills required include antepartum care, sterile speculum and vaginal exams, obstetrical triage, labor and delivery management, C-section circulation, dysrhythmia interpretation, and IV therapy/phlebotomy Graduate of a nursing program accredited by ACEN or CCNE at time of graduation 2 supervisor references required SSN and DOB required for consideration Responsibilities LDRP unit with Level 1 nursery and Level 1 OB/delivery services Performs circumcision, external version, and C-section procedures Staffing ratio of 1:2 couplets Uses Panda warmers with built-in Neo-puff and Philips fetal monitoring with wireless capability Utilizes an OB Hemorrhage Cart Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 4:00 PM to 4:30 AM 100% floating required within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals Provides comprehensive care for antepartum, labor, delivery, and postpartum patients including vaginal deliveries Supports cardiac monitoring and emergency care for obstetrical patients Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays RTO of 5 days or less can be auto-approved; additional time off requires facility approval First-time travelers are welcome to apply IN residents are considered local candidates Local candidates are not accepted for this unit type per facility policy Any current or former IU Health perm/PRN employee must be separated for 12 months before applying as a traveler Travelers who have accrued 12 months of travel employment within IU Health must take a designated break to reset eligibility (90 days for out-of-state residents, 180 days for in-state residents) Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts #J-18808-Ljbffr American Traveler, LLC.
