Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Job Overview

We are seeking Welders to join a manufacturing team supporting the production of steel frames, cabinets, and shelving used in critical technology environments. This role is ideal for candidates with MIG and TIG welding experience who can read blueprints, produce high-quality welds, and take pride in their craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel and aluminum components
• Complete straight welds, plug welds, lap joints, tee joints, and butt joints
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Assemble and align parts prior to welding
• Grind, sand, and deburr welded components as needed
• Inspect finished work to ensure quality and accuracy
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals

Qualifications

• 1+ year of MIG or TIG welding experience preferred
• Trade school graduates are welcome to apply
• Ability to weld stainless steel and aluminum
• Strong blueprint reading skills
• Experience with fabrication and metal assembly
• Familiarity with grinding, sanding, and finishing techniques
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Manufacturing or fabrication experience preferred

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Farmingdale, NY.

The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
