As an Inside Sales Representative you will seek out new customers and partner with existing ones, offering targeted products designed to improve their businesses, using a consultative sales approach. Responsibilities Sell the full line of office supplies to established and potential customers while providing excellent customer service in a moral and ethical manner. Properly maintain equipment and inventory in your possession. Turn in sales orders promptly, completed and properly signed. Work with the President to create a weekly action plan. Market within territory by phone and in person as called for. Ensure that all customer purchases are received in satisfactory condition. Periodically contact each customer to ensure satisfaction and receive referrals. Work with the collections department, if needed, to assist with customer payments. Set appointments for the sales team into targeted accounts. Make new business calls in an adequate number to secure appointments with decision‑making individuals. Send emails, mail, and LinkedIn communications. Spend time researching targeted accounts. Maintain records on potential buyers, their current needs, and call‑back dates after each business call. Assist the President in the QBR process for current customers. Update notes and follow up in Sherpa. Work with all departmental managers regarding personnel and customer needs analysis. Support co‑workers. Gain additional training on own time as well as attend company‑sponsored programs and seminars. Qualifications Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Concentration, speed, and accuracy to handle paperwork expeditiously are a must. High level of confidentiality. Customer service oriented. Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills. Positive businesslike behavior and appearance. Ability and willingness to travel – 5%. Proactive sense of urgency to take initiative. Positive attitude toward co‑workers and customers. Preferred Qualifications 1‑2 years of prior Inside Sales experience. High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED). Strong organizational skills. Basic computer skills (CRM, Outlook, MS Word and Excel, Internet searching). This is a general description of the duties and responsibilities most frequently required of this position.
