Quality Systems Engineer

CES/AWS is looking for a Quality Systems Engineer for our Automotive Manufacturer Client. Salary : up to $47 per hour Shift: 7am-3pm Employment Type: Full-Time What You’ll Do Develop and maintain CMM programs , perform dimensional analysis, and provide measurement data for product validation and problem-solving. Manage customer and supplier PPAPs , including approvals and annual revalidations. Coordinate engineering and process changes, including validation, documentation, and customer approvals. Manage plant calibration systems , including internal and external calibration activities. Maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and purchasing requirements. Support quality audits, corrective actions, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives. Manage the internal audit process and use audit results to drive improvements. Manage quality documentation and change control systems. Work cross-functionally to develop PFMEAs, Control Plans, and Work Instructions . Perform MSA and capability studies on new and existing gages and inspection equipment. Investigate quality rejects, including customer-returned material, and support root-cause analysis and corrective actions. Conduct process capability studies and quality audits. Analyze quality data and assist with process improvement initiatives. Coach team members on statistical techniques and quality tools. Participate in customer visits, reviews, and cross-functional quality initiatives. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering . Equivalent work experience may be considered. 2–5 years of quality engineering experience , preferably in automotive manufacturing. Strong experience with CMM programming, dimensional metrology, GD&T, and measurement analysis . Experience with PPAP, APQP, AIAG Core Tools, engineering change management, PFMEA, Control Plans, and corrective actions . Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001 , and customer-specific quality requirements. Experience with calibration systems, metrology equipment, CMMs, and inspection/measuring/test equipment (IMTE) . Proficiency with Minitab or other statistical analysis software . Strong understanding of quality statistics, MSA, capability studies, and root-cause analysis. Strong communication, organization, project management, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently with limited supervision and collaborate with customers, suppliers, engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams. #J-18808-Ljbffr
