Position: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Setting: Long-Term Care (LTC) / Nursing Home
Shift: Days
Shift Length: 8-hour shifts

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a day-shift position in a long-term care setting. The CNA will provide direct resident care, assist with activities of daily living, and work closely with nurses and other members of the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, safe, and respectful care to residents.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, repositioning, and ambulation.
• Obtain and document vital signs as required.
• Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition to nursing staff.
• Maintain accurate and timely resident-care documentation.
• Follow individualized care plans and facility policies.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team.
• Support nurses and other caregivers in providing comprehensive resident care.

Requirements

• Current CNA certification required.
• Previous long-term care or nursing home experience preferred.
• Ability to work 8-hour day shifts.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to providing quality, resident-centered care.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
