Landscape Equipment Operator

Mission Lawn and Landscape in Polson is seeking a full time Landscape Equipment Operator with three years of experience. Wage is $25 to $30 per hour depending upon experience. Description: Experienced operator for skid steer and excavator responsible for finish grading of new builds, drainage work, retaining walls and other landscape features. Proven work is a must. Snow removal in the winter months. Qualifications: -Must be of the legal age to operate equipment; must possess customer service and communication skills and the ability to follow instructions, be detail oriented and committed to quality work. -Must have experience directing and training other employees. -Proficient in operating excavators, skid steers, front loaders, and other equipment. Duties: -Work with landscaping crew to safely construct custom landscape projects. -Conduct equipment inspections and routine maintenance. This position also includes the option to work through the winter as On-Call Snow Removal Equipment Operator. We start snow removal for snow events often at 3:00 am (depending on the storm). If we are finished with snow removal before five hours you will be paid for a minimum of five hours of work. This position requires being on call seven days a week. We communicate with crews regarding weather so you can be prepared. Health benefits are also available as well as Paid Time Off. Uniforms provided. Generous Tenure program.
