We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with physical therapists to provide high-quality care to patients in various settings, including outpatient clinic, ALF and In-home environments. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as the ability to implement care plans effectively.
Duties
Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.
Provide patient care through therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques including trigger point therapy, and modalities as directed by the supervising therapist.
Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and home care strategies.
Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records using appropriate medical terminology.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care, including discharge planning and follow-up.
Work with diverse patient populations including geriatrics, and those requiring orthopedic rehabilitation.
Experience
Previous experience in an out patient clinic is preferred.
New Grads Welcome
Familiarity with Physical Therapy practices and principles is essential.
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology is required.
Experience in developing care plans tailored to individual patient needs is advantageous.
Background in home health or outpatient clinic environments is beneficial.

Must have Associate Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant
Must have current license as a physical therapist assistant in NH
Must have Healthcare provider CPR certification through the American Heart Association within the first year of hire
