Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Days Infusion Unit position requiring oncology infusion experience and ONS certification.

Details

• Work in a 60-bed/chair infusion unit within the Division of Hematology-Oncology
• 36-hour Days schedule (7am-7pm or 8am-8pm)
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• 13-week assignment
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required (no pending or conditional licenses accepted)
• Current BLS certification (AHA preferred)
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience required
• 2+ years of oncology infusion experience in an Academic Medical Center (AMC) required
• 1+ years of outpatient experience required
• 1+ years of travel nursing experience required
• ONS certification required
• Strong IV and patient assessment skills required
• Experience with complex GI treatment regimens required
• Primary source license verification required (NURSYS and BON) within 30 days of start

Additional Information

• Provide infusion therapy and nursing care to oncology patients in a high-volume hematology-oncology setting
• Flu vaccine required during flu season with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
• Local candidates accepted if permanent residence is within 60 miles of the facility, at a reduced rate
• No validated parking available at Boston locations; public transportation or paid parking required
