Job Description:

• Deliver coordinated and comprehensive nursing care to critically ill ICU patients using the nursing process and established standards of care.
• Perform detailed patient assessments and continuously monitor patient condition to support timely clinical interventions.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Provide advanced nursing care while utilizing critical thinking, independent judgment, and professional discretion.
• Monitor patient responses to treatment and adjust interventions appropriately.
• Supervise and direct assigned nursing personnel to maintain safe and efficient patient care delivery.
• Coordinate care across interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapeutic interventions according to hospital protocols.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Promote patient safety and quality improvement initiatives.
• Support continuity of care and patient-centered treatment plans.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare teams.

Required Qualifications:

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Current BLS / CPR Certification (approved vendor per Adventist Health policy)
• Critical care nursing experience preferred
• Acute care hospital experience preferred
