Associate Attorney – Litigation & TransactionalChicago Area | Remote, Hybrid, or In-OfficeWe are a nationally recognized law firm looking to add to our growing team. We are seeking attorneys with approximately 3–6+ years of experience and are open to candidates coming from a variety of litigation, transactional, corporate, or business law backgrounds.You do not need to be a franchise attorney to be considered.Our practice is national in scope and gives attorneys the opportunity to work on sophisticated matters for established companies, growing businesses, entrepreneurs, and other business clients throughout the country.The RoleThis is not a narrowly defined position. Depending on your experience and strengths, your work may involve a combination of:Commercial and business litigationArbitration and dispute resolutionPre-litigation mattersCorporate and transactional workMergers and acquisitionsContract drafting and negotiationBusiness agreements and transactionsFranchise-related mattersAdvising businesses on a variety of legal and strategic issuesAttorneys with experience spanning both litigation and transactional matters are particularly attractive, but a strong background primarily in one area will absolutely be considered.What We're Looking ForWe are looking for an attorney who has developed a solid foundation in private practice and is ready to take on meaningful responsibility.Approximately 3–6 years of attorney experienceLitigation and/or transactional experienceStrong legal research, writing, and drafting skillsThe ability to manage assignments and deadlines independentlyAn interest in working with businesses and developing a broader practiceActive and in-good-standing state bar admissionWe are open to remote, hybrid, and in-office arrangements, depending on the attorney and circumstances. Candidates are not required to work from the office on a full-time basis.We believe experienced attorneys should be trusted to manage their responsibilities and their time.
