Rare opportunity to join our well-established and fun family law team as an associate or senior level associate attorney! This position is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with at least one year of experience in family law. (Please note at this time we are seeking a licensed attorney who has already passed the State of Illinois Bar Examination.) You will have the opportunity to be trained by our partners, meet the judges who will decide your cases and you will be offered feedback as you build your trial skills. This position will require drafting pleadings and discovery, reviewing case files, appearing for Court, being involved in settlement negotiations, meeting with clients, communicating with clients about their cases, and taking the case to trial, when necessary. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, who has the communication skills to be able to effectively work with clients and is able to handle the ever growing and changing legal matters in the domestic relations division. Our current cases include divorces, parentage court, child support, parenting time, modification of prior family court orders, adoptions and some guardianship work. A well-qualified applicant will have excellent people skills, strong writing and organizational skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work both independently as well as part of a team. Job Type: Full‑time Pay: Potential starting at $90,000+ per year, however, pay will be commensurate with experience, plus bonus opportunities.
