This role is ideal for someone with experience in our key mission areas with a passion for delivering a strong candidate experience.Black & Veatch’s Talent Acquisition Team consists of talent professionals that help enable the organizations people, projects, and businesses to be as successful as possible. This high-performing team partners with our customers to align their people, processes, technologies, and data analytics in the face of industry transformation.Key ResponsibilitiesSourcing:Utilize various recruiting tools and resources to source potential candidates, including social media, job boards, and professional networksDevelop and implement sourcing strategies to attract top talentBuild and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive sourcing techniquesBuild and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates for future openingsFull-Cycle Recruitment:Facilitate all stages of the candidate lifecycle, from job creation through offer, ensuring all candidates have a positive, well-informed experience during the recruiting processDevelop, post, and maintain quality job descriptions and advertisements for open positions, ensuring consistency and compliance across all postingsConsistently monitor and track performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure that recruitment goals are met and identify areas for improvementTechnology:Utilize recruiting technology such as applicant tracking systems, CRM, PowerBi, SharePointUtilize internal applicant tracking system to review applications and maintain candidate progressRelationships:Build strong partnerships with the business, department heads, and hiring managers to understand job requirements and develop effective recruitment strategiesPartner with the business, hiring managers, HR to develop compensation recommendations and negotiate job offers with candidates, ensuring competitive and equitable compensation packagesProvide regular updates to hiring managers on candidate pipeline and recruitment progress, and adjust strategies as needed to meet hiring goalsEnsure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process and maintain relationships with candidates for future opportunitiesOther Responsibilities:Operate in a manner that reflects BV’s vision, mission, and core values, with a specific emphasis on safety, respect and qualityLead and support change initiatives through planning, communication, and implementationPreferred QualificationsStrong sourcing experience.Full-cycle recruiting experience, including high-volume requisitions and excellent candidate management skills.
