The caregivers at Martin North Hospital have made it an excellent medical facility and a home away from home.Job DetailsAs an RN in the Cardiac Cath Lab at Martin North Hospital, you will provide care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures like angioplasties and stent placements. This is a fast-paced environment with very critical care patients, requiring an RN in this position to have previous critical care experience. In this role, you will interact directly with patients and their families, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience and provide healthcare education as needed as well as assist the physician and ensuring patient safety throughout the process. Additionally, the Cleveland Clinic system provides nurses with many professional development resources, including furthering your education, committee participation and online/in-person courses to enhance your skills.A caregiver in this position works days from 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. or 6:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with on-call requirements. You must live within 30 minutes of Martin North Hospital.A caregiver who excels in this role will:Provide direct nursing care.Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.Monitor, record, document and communicate patients' conditions.Administer prescribed medications and treatments.Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs.Educate patients and their families.Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program)Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)One year of current acute care RN experience.
