Associate Attorney - Litigation

Our client is seeking a litigation associate with 2-5 years of experience to handle a diverse range of commercial and business disputes from inception through trial and appeal.

Location: Savannah, GA | In-Person

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle litigation matters involving commercial, banking, real estate, business, and government disputes.
• Draft and argue motions, pleadings, discovery responses, and other litigation filings.
• Conduct and manage written discovery, depositions, and case preparation.
• Assist with and participate in trials and evidentiary proceedings.
• Research and develop case strategies and provide well-reasoned legal analysis.
• Prepare appellate briefs and related filings when required.
• Communicate directly with clients regarding case status, strategy, and litigation developments.
• Handle matters involving real estate and development disputes, land use and local government issues, contract enforcement, fraud, and fraudulent transfer claims.
• Manage assigned matters and take ownership of work product with limited supervision.

Ideal Candidate:

• 2-5 years of litigation experience.
• Strong background in commercial or business litigation preferred.
• Experience with discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Comfortable appearing in state and federal courts.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines independently.
• Demonstrated interest in developing courtroom and litigation skills.
• Georgia Bar admission preferred/required for the role.
