Job Overview A law firm seeks a Corporate Associate for its Charlotte, NC office. The role involves representing both public and privately owned companies in various business matters, including commercial contracts, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance. The ideal candidate will engage in diverse corporate and commercial projects, providing pragmatic counsel with extensive client contact. Duties Review, draft, and negotiate principal and ancillary agreements related to commercial transactions. Engage in a wide variety of corporate and commercial projects. Provide pragmatic counsel with extensive client contact. Requirements 3-5 years of corporate transactional experience preferred. Strong business background and ability to grasp business concepts quickly. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Willingness to ask questions and learn. Desire to work in a team-oriented environment. Law degree. Eligibility for North Carolina Bar admission preferred. Strong negotiation and drafting skills.
