Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Job Summary:
The Cath Lab RN will provide specialized nursing care during diagnostic and interventional procedures within a busy Cardiac Cath Lab. The role involves performing and assisting with various cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures while ensuring patient safety and compliance with medical protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Administer moderate sedation and monitor patients throughout procedures.
• Support and perform procedures such as Left and Right Heart Catheters, PCI, STEMI interventions, and peripheral vascular angiograms/angioplasty.
• Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech and MacLab/Cardiolab systems.
• Collaborate with team members to provide comprehensive patient care, including recovery and post-procedure monitoring.
• Float between cath, IR, EP, and CT units as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
• Assist with device implantation, ablation, and lithotripsy procedures, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with at least 1 year of current Cardiac Cath Lab or related experience.
• Proficient in moderate sedation, patient monitoring, and cardiac procedures.
• Knowledge of peripheral, IR, and EP procedures is preferred.
• Skilled in using MacLab or Cardiolab monitoring systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing assignments.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
