Associate Civil Litigation Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks an Associate Civil Litigation Attorney in Worthington, Ohio. This full‑time position is ideal for attorneys with 0-3 years of litigation experience who are eager to learn all aspects of client management and trial practice. Candidates awaiting bar admission are encouraged to apply, with compensation reflecting experience and licensure status. Duties Assist partners with state and federal litigation matters from pre-lawsuit through resolution. Serve as lead-trial counsel under supervision in all facets of civil litigation, including attending hearings and conducting depositions. Draft, edit, and collaborate on trial briefs, motions, and discovery. Communicate effectively with clients regarding fees, costs, litigation risks, and strategies. Requirements 0-3 years of litigation experience. Ohio Bar license in good standing. Strong academic performance in legal writing and trial-related classes. Achievements in mock trial or moot court. Experience or education in civil litigation and/or consumer protection preferred. Education Juris Doctor from an accredited law school. Certifications Ohio Bar license. Skills Strong communication and client management skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
