Physician - Pediatric Anesthesiologist

Job Description Ochsner Children’s Hospital in New Orleans is searching for a Pediatric Anesthesiologist to join our team of seven general Pediatric Anesthesiology faculty for practice at Ochsner’s flagship hospital. The successful applicant will have completed a Pediatric Anesthesiology fellowship or have equivalent experience and subspecialty certification. Key Responsibilities Provide anesthesia care for a wide range of cases including common outpatient procedures, complex neonatal surgery, and liver transplants. Collaborate with surgeons and other colleagues to deliver high quality patient care. Participate in departmental teaching responsibilities, including supporting a 4‑year residency and engaging with medical students and visiting trainees. Provide care at a dedicated pediatric ER, a 46‑bed pediatric unit, 14‑bed PICU, 12‑bed CVICU, and 54‑bed Level IV NICU. Qualifications Completed Pediatric Anesthesiology fellowship or equivalent experience. Subspecialty certification in Pediatric Anesthesiology.
