Physician Gastroenterology - Competitive Salary

Job Description This regional medical center in south central Georgia is seeking a board certified/board eligible Gastroenterologist to serve as a GI Hospitalist. Position highlights include: This GI Hospiital will support the 15 physicians and 29 APPs affiliated with the Clinic, as well as referring providers. Current Staff Includes: 1 Physician (IP/OP) 4 APPs in the clinic 1 NP in the hospital GI Hospitalist will be responsible for IP consults and IP procedures Monday - Friday; 8 am - 5 pm ~130 ERCPs/Year 3 Endoscopy Rooms EHR - Cerner, in the IP and OP setting The endoscopy services include, but are not limited to, Colonoscopy Small Bowel Enteroscopy ERCP Flexible Fiberoptic Sigmoidoscopy High Resolution Manometry 48-Hour Bravo pH Monitoring EGD Pill Cam SB Tif Procedure The healthcare system includes two hospitals, four ambulatory surgery centers, and more than 30 physician practices, The system is a growing network of care serving South Central Georgia.
