Basic Job Functions: Responsibilities of the Shipping Administrator may include but are not limited to: • Provide quality, professional service to customers, carriers and teammates• General knowledge of inventory tracking and control• Billing billets and finished goods via trucks and railcars• Coordinating scale activity of incoming and outgoing shipments• Controlling truck flow by appointment times using Dock Scheduling• Provide daily reports for Shipping Department Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.Minimum Qualifications:

• 1+ year experience in an administrative role• 1+ year experience using Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) in a business settingPreferred Qualifications:
• Associates Degree
