OR Desktop Support Technician

*Job Title: Desktop Support Technician*
*Job Description*We are looking for a dedicated Operating Room Desktop Support Technician to manage computer imaging, PC and printer deployment, and configure mobile devices such as iPhones and iPads. The technician will ensure clinical software installations and provide exceptional customer service while communicating technical terms and policies effectively.
*Responsibilities*

* Configure and deploy PCs, printers, and Wyse terminals.
* Install and support clinical software applications.
* Provide one-on-one training and guidance to end users and help desk personnel.
* Analyze system failures and determine remedies to ensure smooth workflow.
* Perform regular equipment checks and ensure adherence to security policies.
* Implement, maintain, and support end-user infrastructure, including PDAs, PCs, printers, LAN, AV, and video conferencing.
* Solve software and hardware problems and offer acquisition recommendations.
* Conduct diagnostic checks to maintain desktops and prevent viruses.
* Create and maintain documentation on problem solutions and tool configurations.
* Monitor and manage desktop queues, logging real-time entries, and closing tickets promptly.
* Participate in planning and implementing small projects.
* Manage wire configurations and document completed work with before/after pictures.
*Essential Skills*
* Strong troubleshooting skills in a Windows 10/11 environment.
* Experience with imaging machines and setting up workstations.
* Familiarity with Active Directory and Office 365.
* Proficiency in supporting users in an operating room setting.
*Additional Skills & Qualifications*
* Prior experience in a healthcare environment is required.
* Must be tech-savvy with a proactive mindset.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.

*Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
