Key Responsibilities of the Cardiac Cath RN

• Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures including STEMI, PCI, and coronary angiography
• Assist in electrophysiology studies, ablations, and device implants
• Conduct pre and post-procedural patient recovery
• Participate in rotating weekday and weekend call duties
• Provide coverage within the cath lab department

Requirements of the Cardiac Cath RN

• Active IL RN license or initiated application process
• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience required
• STEMI experience required; IR and Neuro IR experience preferred
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
