Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

Nights (1900-0730), Rotating weekends

The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) provides direct care or influences care for acutely and critically ill patients who are at high risk for actual or potential life-threatening health problems. The ICU offers care through advanced knowledge and experience in a setting that provides intensive monitoring, assessments, and interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and monitoring
• Implement and manage treatment plans
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families about conditions and treatment

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission
• Healthcare Provider Level AHA BLS required
• AHA ACLS and TNCC required for GSR ICU-CCU; PALS preferred
• Previous ICU experience preferred
• Verification of high school diploma or equivalent required

Assignment Duration:

This is a 13-week contract position.
