Travel Respiratory Therapist – Registered (Nights)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Projected Start: November 16, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide cardiopulmonary diagnostic and therapeutic services to both inpatient and outpatient populations, including pediatric and OB patients
• Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures, including intubations and arterial line insertion
• Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas and maintain patient airways
• Manage patients on mechanical ventilators in accordance with approved protocols
• Perform pulmonary function studies, cardiac and pulmonary stress tests, and blood gas analysis
• Follow medical staff-approved protocols and department policies to ensure timely and safe patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required
• Active Wyoming Respiratory Therapist license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical Respiratory Therapy experience
• Experience working with pediatric and OB patients required
• Active ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required — must be issued through the American Heart Association

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel therapy experience in a hospital or acute care setting
• Experience working in a community hospital environment, either in a permanent or contract capacity
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
