Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in the Portland metropolitan area. This role involves providing specialized critical care to adult patients, with responsibilities including patient monitoring, administering medications, and managing ventilated patients. The position is scheduled for night shifts and offers an opportunity to float between units based on skill sets and unit needs.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid state license with a compact license in hand, at least 2 years of ICU experience, certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS). Candidate must have experience with arterial line management, ventilator management, and complex patient monitoring.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, prior ICU charge nurse experience, and familiarity with trauma-level care protocols.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to other ICU units to meet staffing needs.
• Additional Information: The position requires candidates to have a reliable vehicle for assignment flexibility, with floating to multiple facilities in the region as needed. Candidates must be available to work at least three of the five designated holidays and adhere to scheduled shift times. References covering the last three years are required.
