Agricultural Service Engineer Suffolk | Full-Time | Permanent Up to £36,000 per year plus overtime and standby payments Role summary This is a field-based Agricultural Service Engineer role working on a wide range of modern agricultural machinery. You’ll carry out servicing, diagnostics and repairs using both hands-on mechanical skills and laptop-based fault finding. The role suits someone with land-based engineering experience who enjoys variety, responsibility and working directly with customers. Key responsibilities Service, maintain and repair agricultural machinery across the full product range Diagnose faults using manufacturer diagnostic software and on-board systems Carry out mechanical, electrical and hydraulic repairs Complete documentation accurately and on time Participate in seasonal overtime and standby where required Undertake ongoing manufacturer and technical training What we’re looking for Qualification or equivalent experience in Land-Based Engineering Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills Confident communicator with good customer‑facing ability Willingness to work overtime during peak periods Full UK driving licence Salary & benefits Up to £36,000 basic salary with regular performance reviews Regular overtime (paid on hours over 37.5 per week) Standby and on‑call payments Company van, laptop and mobile phone £20,000 tool insurance Pension scheme with above average employer contributions Life assurance Enhanced sickness pay 24 days annual leave rising to 28 days Free PPE including safety boots Ongoing manufacturer training and clear progression pathway If you’re looking for a long‑term engineering career with structured development and strong earning potential, we’d like to hear from you.
