Third Party Quality Inspector inside GM 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts. IMMEDIATE OPENINGS! The Personnel Office is looking for a Third-Party Quality Inspector inside GM. First Shift 6:00 am to 2:00 pm. Second Shift 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Third Shift 10:00 pm to 6:00 am Immediate openings for qualified candidates. Applications: Monday thru Friday 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. G-4267 S Dort Hwy. Burton MI 48529. Must be able to pass a criminal background check. Requirements: Should be physically fit and have the ability to lift heavy materials. The ability to competently and effectively manage time and complete assigned work. Be a team player and have the ability to coordinate with fellow workers. High school degree, GED certification. Must be able to repeatedly lift 50 lbs. Able to stand for 8hrs or more at a time. Able to bend, reach, and manipulate bulky objects. Responsibilities: The locations are typically a fast-paced and high-stress environment that requires impartial measurement and inspection of materials (supplied parts) for manufacturing. Work environment is typically filled with heightened emotions due to interruption of production processes. Assures that the Customer’s supplied materials is free from ‘suspect’ defect(s) or any other defect that is found during the inspection of supplied parts. Reads, understands, acknowledges and performs documented ‘Work Instructions’. Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database when instructed by Lead Inspector.
