CDL Delivery Swing Driver

Job Overview Delivery Swing Driver for Andrews Distributing, the largest beer and spirits distributor in Texas. The role involves driving assigned Off‑Premise or On‑Premise routes, safely delivering products to customers, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Schedule & Pay Mon‑Fri, 6:00AM – ~2:00PM or until the route is completed. Pay begins at $22.25 per hour. Benefits Weekly pay every Friday Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid vacation and sick time 401(k) with company match Nike branded uniform Free beer on the job (root beer for those under 21) Key Responsibilities Drive designated routes and deliver product to customers safely and on time, following all federal, state, and local regulations. Unload, load, and move product using proper equipment while keeping the work area clean and organized. Stock retail accounts quickly and efficiently, rotating product to maintain quality standards. Complete pre/post‑trip vehicle inspections and maintain all company equipment and vehicles in good condition. Validate and complete customer orders, process payments when required, and obtain signatures. Document delivery information, return items, and inventory control reports. Communicate issues and opportunities to the sales team and district delivery manager. Manage and provide direction to assigned delivery assistants, ensuring customer service guidelines are met. Assist with administrative tasks such as reporting and documentation. Required Qualifications Texas Class A CDL license for Route and Swing Drivers. Previous commercial driving experience. Familiarity with GPS navigation. Ability to perform in a physically demanding role daily and in extreme weather conditions. Strong English reading and writing skills; basic math proficiency. Valid driver’s license with a clean record. Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in distribution, intrastate driving, or the beverage industry. Past retail or customer service experience. Understanding of product merchandising and inventory practices. Excellent communication skills. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 165lbs. (On‑Premise driving). Ability to lift up to 100lbs. for general driving tasks. Capability to work in noisy, crowded environments and in various temperature conditions. Must be able to use a personal computer for data entry and communication.
