Lunch Monitor Middle School School And Elementary Level

The Port Chester-Rye Union Free School District is looking to hire a lunch monitor for middle school and elementary level. The starting pay is $17.00 per hour with a 1.9% increase each year. Duties include supervision of students in the cafeteria, assist with lunchroom cleanup, recess duty, and student supervision in classrooms. The hours vary and are up to 3.5 hours a day, during the lunch time hours (hours may vary).

Minimum qualifications:

Graduation from high school or an equivalent amount of experience and training.

In accordance with the Safe Schools Against Violence in Education (SAVE) legislation, Chapter 180 of the Laws of 2000, and by the Regulations of the Commissioner of Education, candidates for appointment in school districts must obtain clearance for employment from the State Education Department's contracted vendor prior to employment based upon a fingerprint and criminal history background check. Each new employee must consent prior to employment to this security/background check at their own expense.
