Staff Nurse (RN) - OB Resource Pool

Summary We are currently seeking a Staff Nurse to join our OB Resource Pool team. This position will be cross‑trained to work/float in OBGYN, Nursery, Labor and Delivery, Pediatrics, and NICU. It is a 0.9 FTE (6 shifts/pay period), 12‑hour shifts, nights, every third weekend plus on‑call per unit policy. NOTE: This role will also be trained as a charge nurse. Responsibilities Protect, promote, and optimize health. Prevent illness and injury. Alleviate suffering through the treatment of the human response. Partner with the patient, their family, and significant others. Document interventions and an individualized plan of care. Qualifications 1 year of recent maternal health professional nursing (RN) experience –or 2 years of current professional nursing (RN) experience in an inpatient hospital setting. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Possession of a valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of Minnesota. Preferred: Certification in area of clinical specialty. Preferred: BSN (Bachelor of Nursing) degree. Bachelor of Nursing degree is strongly encouraged. Advancement in academic education will be discussed as part of individual professional development during the annual performance review. #J-18808-Ljbffr
